The matriarch and patriarch of the Dolendi family are Dodi & Larry.  Their home in Plainfield, the kitchen in particular, is the heart of this family.  They have created a loving atomosphere for their boys, Larry & Nick, and watched as they grew up and left the house but never stopped calling it home.  Frequently their house plays host to Sunday Dinners and family parties, but deep down their love of entertaining does not stop with family.  Always willing to open their home to their friends and making sure that nobody leaves hungry, or for that matter, thirsty.  There is an abundance of love in their home and always an available seat at the table and a dependable ear available for listening.  Whether you refer to them as Mom & Dad, Mimi & Papa, Uncle Lar & Aunty Dodi, or even Mr. & Mrs. D, they make sure that you always feel welcome!

Dodi & Larry's oldest son, also Larry, and his wife, Katie are the proud parents of the youngest living Dolendis, Riley Edward & Reese Elizabeth.  They have made their home in Aurora and are creating a family dynamic all their own.  These days are mostly filled with spending time with Riley & Reese and soaking in each milestone as they unfold before their eyes.  Katie & Larry have taken to being parents like "ducks to water" and look forward to a lifetime of memories to be made and shared with their family.

(Picture to be changed) Dodi & Larry's youngest son, Nick, is making his home in Downtown Chicago.  He is very excited to announce that his girlfriend, Priscila, and he are moving into a beautiful two bedroom loft near the United Center.  Nick is a lifelong, diehard Chicago Blackhawks fan and is keeping the family tradition of season tickets alive and well.  His days are filled with work but his nights and weekends are spent enjoying all that there is to experience of life in the city.  Priscila & Nick are regularly out in the suburbs to partake in Sunday Dinners and Champagne Thursdays.  Nick is the proud Godfather of Katie & Larry's daughter Reese, and loves to spoil both his Goddaughter and nephew with the finer things in life.
